Program Overview
Students wishing to primarily focus on Islamic studies can join this program. The program combines Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and Islamic Studies, in an intensive course, of 7 or 14 weeks during the Summer, Fall or Spring semesters. The program consists of 10 hours of MSA, and 3 hours of Egyptian Colloquial Arabic per week, in addition to 6 hours of two chosen Islamic courses per week. Islamic courses include Tajweed al Qur'an, Quranic interpretation (tafsiir), Islamic Philosophy, Islamic History and Islamic law (Maqaasid). The program is offered to beginners up to advanced level students of Arabic proficiency.

The application deadline for the Summer program is April 30th; for the Fall program is Jul. 30th; and for the Spring program is Dec. 30th, of every year.
